The Midi Music Company is a Music Education Charity set up in 1994, establishing its artistic programme in January 1995. Based in Deptford, South East London, we provide a space for all children, young people and adults to be inspired to explore music and the creative industries. We do this through programmes such as affordable music classes for children age five upwards, and career development to help emerging artists make their way in the music industry with a specific focus on creating access for individuals who have learning disabilities, mental health issues, Deaf young people, the unemployed and looked after children.

Here at The Midi Music Company we take a collaborative approach to our programmes, which are delivered in a safe and welcoming environment. Our industry connections allow for vocational enterprise development into the music business, and the space we provide allows creative industry entrepreneurs to run independent projects on site, adding value to our creative ecosystem. Each year we provide 600 hours of affordable music tuition for all abilities, across a wide range of instrumental and production skills.

We have supported the career development of many established & emerging artists, producers, live bands, and creative industry professionals including MOBO Award Winner Jahaziel, DJ NG, Clay Morrisson, The Noisettes, Melt Yourself Down, Destiny Ekaragha, Oggie, LAZYTALK, Conrad Kira, United vibrations and many more.
