MAKING MUSIC FOR TV ADS – FOUR INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS, THURSDAYS

Understanding harmony can seem daunting, but we’ll demystify it for you. You’ll learn chord construction, create original chord sequences, learn the secrets of tension and release and much more. MUSIC PRODUCTION - TUESDAYS 6 – 9PM,
This course will show you how to create, arrange and push your tracks to their full potential using professional production software. We use Logic and Reason, two of the most powerful programmes available which are used by producers like Kayne, Dr. Dre and Dizzee Rascal, and we work exclusively on Apple computers, still the tool of choice in most high-end studios. You’ll learn how to choose and edit sounds, how to use samplers, understanding MIDI as well as how to mix, edit and export your finished track. CRE8TIV® VOICES COMMUNITY CHOIR – TUESDAYS 6.30 – 9PM,
The human voice is the original musical instrument, and this course focuses on its limitless potential for creativity. Liberate your songwriting through collaboration! Original melodies, inspired by lyric ideas, lead naturally to harmonies and chord sequences. Supported by close attention to technical skills and microphone technique, you will soon be ready for exciting performance opportunities. The course takes place in our performance hall in Deptford.
