Young MMC artists are creating a piece of work on the theme of Remembrance, commissioned by the Imperial War Museum (IWM) in London.
Programme tutors Ahmad Dayes and MC Angel are working with the invited group, all of whom first came to MMC as students on our AYM (Aspiring Young Musicians) course. The artists are collaborating on a ten-minute Spoken Word performance, soundtracked with original music and archive recordings provided by the IWM. The creation time has been tight, but they have worked extremely hard and produced an impressive piece of work.
Join their premiere live performance in the atrium of the IWM on Sunday 14 November, breaking the silence with performances at 11.02am, 12.10pm and 1.10pm.
