77 Watts is a new, FREE , hands-on podcast programme powered by The Midi Music Company & funded by Sony Music UK’s Social Justice Fund.
Young people aged 16-30 learn to plan, host, and produce their own podcast from initial idea all the way through to broadcast. Across weekly sessions, participants get practical training, facilitated by industry professionals DJ NG and Ahmad Dayes.
Over the course of the project, they learn how to:

Speak confidently on the mic, host interviews, and tell engaging stories

Record, edit, mix, and structure professional-quality audio

Shape themes, research topics, script segments, and curate music

Build and produce a complete show

Explore how radio, podcasting, youth media, and creative careers work behind the scenes
The podcast is broadcast on Radio Lewisham, giving participants a real platform to showcase their work.

Engineer: Ahmad Dayes
Accomplished Musician, Studio Engineer and Producer.
