I had the incredible opportunity to attend Luke Concannon’s songwriting weekend, Ecstatic Song, which was due to a partial scholarship from his partnership with The Midi Music Company. It was an interactive and inspiring weekend. It gave some time to focus on my craft while gaining positive insight from those who are very established in their field. Luke’s course taught me to listen more honestly to what I am making and to realise the importance of simplicity. There was also a master with Ed Sheeran which was incredible – his mantra and focus on graft made me feel very excited to be an artist in the 21st century. I would heavily recommend the course to anyone who wants to develop their career in songwriting.

TESTIMONIALS
Op Sa! They are big, bold and brass-heavy. We were mesmerised, the crowd compelled to dance and unable to drag themselves away from turned into a lively gypsy party.
With awesome musical chops, an energy not seen since punk rock’s halcyon days and ability to turn a gentle world music festival crowd into a heaving, pogoing mosh-pit, there’s something special about this band that manages to touch almost everyone who hears and sees them live, no matter what music they’re into
London-based genre-defiers Lazytalk and their quite incredible track ‘Memories‘ are today’s Track of the Day
Blessed with something innately special, the pair's output to date displays a chemistry that is impossible to fake.
