Wozzy Brewster, OBE FRSA

Founder | Executive Director

Wozzy is also the former Youth Culture Advisor of the previous Mayor of Lewisham, Sir Steve Bullock, and is a Freewoman of the London Borough of Lewisham. She delivers the CICAS® programme, advising aspiring and emerging talent. She manages future Afro jazz four-piece United Vibrations and eight-piece Ska Reggae band Chainska Brassika, and was recently inducted into the Music Week Women in Music Roll of Honour.

She has a flair for nurturing and developing artists across all disciplines, sharing her knowledge with our members during one to one CICAS® sessions. Wozzy enjoys travelling the world, speaks Italian and is learning Spanish, and has created and delivered international youth arts projects in Italy, Lithuania, Ireland, Germany, USA and Mauritius. Her passion for music takes inspiration from a range of genres and artists, including Dawn Penn, Bob Marley, Sade and Roberta Flack. Her wellness routine is a fusion of Hot Yoga, Tai Chi and Club Dancing! It is no surprise that Wozzy loves event management and writing lyrics!

Paige Michel-Strachan

PR and Marketing Coordinator

Paige is thrilled to be The Midi Music Company’s new PR and Marketing Coordinator. She’s excited to implement innovative marketing strategies to amplify the charity’s mission, drive engagement, and foster genuine partnerships within the music industry.

Committed to using the power of music to create positive change, Paige is passionate about building relationships that inspire collaboration, supporting underserved communities and celebrating local talent. She also has experience in music event production working with the UK’s most prestigious organisations. Outside of work, Paige loves attending music gigs, festivals and carnivals immersing herself in the vibrant, joyful, magical energy of live performances.

Nixon Rosembert

IT Technician

He has over 40 years’ experience in music performance, production, theatre, and education, performing as a live/session bass player and as an MD, road manager, and music/voiceover producer.

Nixon is the founder of the tech support service ‘Tech No Phobia’. He is also a co-founder of BAFA UK (Black Association For Arts), and a partner in the music and audio production facility, Cool Moon Music.

Along with his role at MMC, Nixon is also a member of the Musicians’ Union and is currently Chair of the MU London Regional Committee. He is also on the board of directors of the charity, Montage Theatre Arts.
