Naima Adams is a Rome via D.C.-raised, south London-based artist/vocalist who melds contemporary R&B with finely layered vocal textures, personal storytelling and a soul-capturing tone.
Following her debut live festival appearance at this year’s Cross The Tracks in May 2024 and the release of her first single, ‘Fragile’ received praise from Bandcamp Radio and Jazz FM, with playlist support from Line of Best Fit, Somewhere Soul, and Spotify.
Having toured & performed alongside Allysha Joy, Sampa The Great, Celeste, Nadeem Din-Gabisi and Sofia Grant, and influenced by her time spent within the London jazz community as organiser/DJ of label/club night, Touching Bass, and co-founder of SE London multi-arts collective, Scrapbook Mixtape, Naima Adams continues to push forward her newly-launched solo project with latest single, ‘Stay’, a glimpse into the tussle of navigating the realities of an inner city existence.
She recently became a Roundhouse Resident Artist for 2023/24 and her next offering, produced by London composer, producer/multi-instrumentalist, Marla Kether is set for release early next year.
