Fame Music, in partnership with The Midi Music Company, Lewisham Council, and The Young Mayor for Lewisham. After running over 15 online competitions and having scouted talents from all over the world (including Australia, United Arab Emirates, Italy, France, Africa and USA), Fame Music launched its first UK competition.
The project sought to not only to find hidden talent, but also to create awareness of the importance of music in education and to help students understand the uniting force of music as a bridge for building acceptance and tolerance. A professional line-up of key industry players in the project, including Paulette Long OBE( Music Business mentor/PRS) Kevin Simpson (Former Manager – Jamiroquai/Long Lost Brother Management) and Winston Bussett ( Massive Attack) . The winner of 2016s competition was Jay Johnson, CICAS ® member.
