Edi Ried – CICAS® Podcast Interview – September 2026

Edi Ried is a London-based artist blending bluesy rock instrumentals with raw, soulful storytelling.

Edi Ried blends soulful storytelling with edgy emotive instrumentation, drawing on influences from classic soul and rock legends. Her sound is raw, haunting, and theatrical—reimagining old soul with a modern, unapologetically real edge.

In this episode our host Maura Bird sits down with Edi Ried to discuss the creation and inspirations behind Edi Ried’s upcoming EP release Unsaid, her curiosities surrounding what her listeners take away from her music, and the inspiration behind her musical persona.

The EP’s lead track Runaway released on 4 September 2026.

The EP Unsaid will be released on 10 October 2026.
