Ahnansé
Steam Down, the artist collective, weekly event, and community he birthed in 2017, has rapidly captured London’s attention, culminating in two Jazz FM awards, including the prestigious Innovation Award. Beyond these accolades, Ahnansé’s music has resonated globally, appearing in FIFA 21, the acclaimed Paramount+ series “Flat Share” and the 2020 FIFA World Cup campaign.
His collaborations extend beyond Steam Down, encompassing work with the Colombian collective Mestizo, the notable band United Vibrations alongside Yussef Dayes, and performing with long-standing collaborator Theon Cross.

Yussef Dayes
The last year has been a real breakthrough for Dayes, being propelled into the spotlight off the back of his debut solo studio album ‘Black Classical Music’, with collaborations like Masego, Chronixx, Jamilah Barry, Tom Misch and more. Dayes has since won an Ivor Novello for Best Album and been nominated for two Brit Awards. The record was featured in the year’s best lists from the likes of Spotify, NPR Music, Rough Trade, BBCRadio 6 Music, Boston Globe, PopMatters, AllMusic, Loud and Quiet, Brooklyn Vegan, Treblezine, KCRW,WRTI, Qobuz as well as being featured on Channel 4 News and across 75+ editorial playlists across DSPs.

Skin
She is also a fashion icon, a renowned DJ, actress and an activist. Born and brought up in Brixton, South London, she rejected the safe haven of soul/R&B session singing by literally diving headlong into hardcore rock. Since she emerged in the mid ‘90s with Skunk Anansie, Skin has been a ground-breaking presence.

Jazzie B OBE
His first gig in 1977 with a friend, Jah Rico, marked the beginning of five times Brit-nominated Soul II Soul, whose hits such as Back to Life and Keep On Movin’ and albums such as Club Classics remain seminal to this day.

Chaka Khan
Affectionately known around the world as Chaka, she is revered by millions of fans as well as her peers for her timeless, classic and unmatched signature music style and ability.

Shovell
The Beloved, Chicane, Atomic Kitten, Hear’Say, Death In Vegas, Kenny Thomas, Wolfgang Haffner, The Sandals, Bud Nubac, Defected Records, Pacha Ibiza. Shovell travels the planet in the name of the good groove.

Shingai Shoniwa
The band first achieved commercial success and nationwide recognition with the second single off their second album, Don’t Upset the Rhythm (Go Baby Go) which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in Spring 2009. The Noisettes have toured Europe and the U.S.A. extensively, with artists such as TV on the Radio, Tom Vek, Babyshambles, Bloc Party, Mystery Jets, Muse, and Lady Gaga.
