Jamie is a Lewisham based guitarist and songwriter, writing across genres from folk to soul and beyond.

He’s got a solo project ‘Jim Bell’ and also performs with his band Kombu Nori, as well as playing guitar for neo-soul singer Evie Asio.

In this episode Jamie chats with our host, Michaela, about his background in music, his inspirations and the projects he is working on currently.

Jack began his career in music as a professional drummer, playing with his band ‘Bare Hunter’ and as a session musician for various other artists.

He’s played stages from Glastonbury to Ronnie Scott’s jazz club and toured around the world as resident drummer on board the Queen Mary 2 cruise liner.

In recent years he has turned his focus onto recording, producing and writing music for TV and film companies. He’s just signed record contracts with 411 music group and Ninja tune and is now working on a new album of Americana Trailer style tracks.

He joined us on the podcast this month to talk about where it all began, his life/career shift post-pandemic, and his recently signed project!
