This month we hear Lucy Daize interview the remarkable Mya Onwugbonu.

Mya Onwugbonu is 21 year old creative who has already seen much success in her career in the arts. She self-published her first poetry book ‘consciousness’ in 2021 and has begun creating and directing her own work.

In this episode, she discusses her creative work, her focus on uplifting and spotlighting Black experiences, and her debut play ‘Hear Me Now’ as part of VAULT Festival 2023 from 14th-17th February.

Arinola is a 20-year-old music producer, singer-songwriter and pianist from North-West London. She is also our newest CICAS® Intern at The Midi Music Company. What she lacks in age, she more than makes up for in her artistic visions and musical instincts that feel as though they have been nurtured and cultivated over decades.

Here she talks about being the newest CICAS® Intern, her studies in Music Production & Performance, and how her unique skillset in computer science and music production helps distinguish her from other artists.

Her debut single ‘Love Story’ is expected to be released in February 2023.
